Your Role as a Teaching Assistant

In this lesson. we will be exploring your role as a Teacher.

When we talk about teaching roles, we are thinking about how you present yourself and how you interact with your students.

Teacher is one specific Role. Just as Student is a different Role.

Just like an actor preparing to go on stage, there are certain approaches to your 'character' that will feel more comfortable, more true to your own personality than others.

It may be helpful to think about Teaching Roles in terms of a continuum moving from more informal to more formal:
